Six Thursdays, 5:30 - 6:45 EST
November 12 - December 17, 2020
Each class will begin with a discussion on a short reading (one paragraph or less), a sutra, or other contemplative focus. Following our contemplation, we will move through a strong and intelligent movement practice, combining elements of Iyengar yoga, functional patterns, Feldenkrais, and playful primal flow. Injuries and alter-abilities are welcomed and encouraged.
TRANSFORMATIONAL MOVEMENT FOR YOUR UNIQUE BODY
We practice sustainable, lifelong movement that supports our bodies' innate intelligence.
In both group and private classes, we move through a nutritious combination of movement practices, drawing from yoga asana, qi gong, functional patterns, and play.
